Our Team

The research team headed by Prof. Haim D. Rabinowitch and Prof. Nachum Kedar, in cooperation with phytopathologist Prof. J. Katan and our business manager Z. Shomroni (B.Sc), brings together university professors, researchers in modern biology, genetics, physiology, biochemistry, phytopathology and horticulture, and plant breeders backed by academic degrees. The team is further assisted by specialists from various disciplines, and a skilled technical staff. Involved in tomato breeding for over 50 years, with proven ability to provide products that meet the needs of professional growers and seed companies around the world, the research team maintains a large collection of genetic resources including established lines, mutants with desirable traits, and wild species.
